About Franick

We started this business in September 2015. Rick has over 30 years experience in the outdoor power industry. We believe in good old fashioned service, the best advice possible, and most importantly making sure you buy what suits your needs the first time!!

Franick sell, service and repair a wide variety outdoor power equipment; lawn mowers, ride on mowers, zero turns, chainsaws, push mowers, blowers, line trimmers, water blasters....the list goes on.

We're able to service most brands of outdoor power equipment. Oleo-Mac, Masport, MTD Husqvarna, Stihl, LawnMaster, John Deere, Rover, Victa, Cub Cadet, Gravely etc..... Come in and see us for advice today!

We also sharpen chainsaw chains, garden equipment and even spades!

Our handy reminder system texts or emails you, to let you know a service is due and we also offer a log in system for contractors, business customers and those with a lot of equipment who like to see when equipment is due servicing and to have access to their invoices come tax year.

Pick-up & Drop-off for Servicing

Our pick-up and drop-off service available for a small fee, this depends on your location.

Our fees allow for staff costs, fuel and wear and tear/milage on the van.

We have opted, as always, to keep our return trip complementary.

Fees fall into 4 price structures. Feel free to ring our team for clarification if you are unsure on your rate. 

Zone 1 - $50

Hastings, Havelock North, Flaxmere, Pakipaki

 Zone 2- $75

Maraekakaho, Te Awanga, Puketapu, Haumoana, Taradale, Raukawa

 Zone 3- $85

Waipawa, Otane, Crownthorpe, Eskdale, Rissington, Maraetotara

 Zone 4 - $100

Waipukurau, Takapau

Our Team

Working alongside us our team has now expanded to include Camryn and Rob. Casual mechanic Steve comes in during the busy season to support Rick and the team.

• Camryn works in the office alongside Francine, looking after our accounts and invoicing side of things.
• Francine focuses on accounts, sales and social media.
• Rick is our head mechanic and also does sales. 
• Rob is our mechanic; he supports Rick in the workshop helping to repair your equipment.

For our Hawkes Bay Schools

For all Schools, Kohanga Reo and Early Childhood Centres we offer a set 10% discount on all servicing and sales of parts. For new units we will quote the prices at the time.
